GARLIC GRADING SORTING LINES
FUTURA takes care of the whole garlic grading process, so as to preserve the quality of your products.
The handling of garlic might be slightly more problematic than the handling of other vegetables, due to the garlic skin’s friability. In fact, the crumbly garlic skin tends to leave many fragments on the grading machines.
In order to minimize the problem and to guarantee a perfect singulation of your garlic and, as a consequence, a more efficient production, we developed a specific trolley, pitch 76. It is designed to prevent the overloading of more than one product on the same trolley and to maximize the line filling.
SORTING OPTIONS FOR WEIGHT, SIZE AND COLOUR
The major sorting option for garlic is weight, however size and colour are also available.
Depending on production capacity and type of packaging, your garlic can be graded and sorted using Logika Central Discharge or Logical Lateral Discharge.
